Every Last Drop of Toothpaste
I need some advice here please. I am coming to the end of my stash of toothpaste - I had no idea I had eight months of toothpaste in the house just waiting. I am using up every last drop. I have cut open the tube and there is a good few days of toothpaste left (such a waste not to cut it open). So what do I buy next? I am keen to stick with something with fluoride in it. What are your experiences with plastic free toothpaste for you and the whole family? Any advice for my next step would be a real help? Is anyone a dentist or spoken to one to know what they think? I don't want to change toothpaste and end up with a filling where the materials used are harmful to the environment.
I have been cutting open tubes of lots of things for a while: hand creams, foundations, etc. You will be amazed how much product you will find inside. I cover up the cut tube with a small bee's wax wrap to keep it away from the elements and stop it drying out. But with some things (foundation) there can be two weeks' worth remaining which could have just ended up as waste in the bin.
