How do your Christmas Parcels Arrive
The risk of shopping online at Christmas (even when the item itself is green) is the lottery on the packaging - e.g. the ridiculously over sized box your single book will arrive in and what type of packaging it will be packed out with? It's so hit and miss: bubble wrap, air pillows, low grade brown filler paper or this amazing honeycomb brown paper mesh. I love it. Not only is it plastic free but it looks great. Now what to re-purpose it as? Generally, wherever possible, I try to avoid buying new. Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree are so full of things you can almost find exactly what you need by just looking into the search engine. And never forget your local charity shops - I regularly find things which are brand-new with labels and never used.
