Chocolate: the full package

We are now over half way through Plastic Free July (or reducing your plastic consumption by how ever much you can).   Hopefully if you have taken on the challenge you are having fun and finding lots of great alternativies to things in your normal life.

Sometimes it can feel very frustrating doing without things you love or finding an alternative that is not a compromise.  All is not doom and gloom for chocolate fans out there. I came across this chocolate when I posted about chocolate a few months ago and one of my followers suggested I contact a local business Out of the Box Gifts based locally, Plumly. They stock Seed and Bean Chocolate. I had not heard of this chocolate before but it really is the full package. Plastic free, organic, vegan, palm oil free, fair trade (where possible) , ethically sourced and made in England.  Not only all that, it also comes in some amazing flavours (22 in all!)

I bought these: lavender, coconut raspberry, and mandarin and ginger.  Not only is the chocolate itself a lovely good rich taste, the flavour combinations really work and are not too subtile you miss them. In fact they are very distinct flavours.

The packaging is amazing I had to look Seed and Bean up online to check it really was home compostable.  It is shinny and feels like a foil space blanket they give out for thermal shock. I just couldn't believe it. But it is. It's Natureflex a flexible cellulose film.

Out of the Box Gifts is a great local business. They source ethical, natural and organic products made in England.  The products they sell are mostly plastic free as is all the gift box packing. Worth a little look.
