All you need for Plastic Free July...

...Is not very much!

This image was adapted by Zerowastehome - Bea Johnson, she added all the red crosses.  I love this image.  Now six months into this journey I could not agree more with her observations.    You don't need to rush out and buy lots of new things in order to avoid plastic and waste.  In fact quite the opposite - take the time to look around your home and see what you can re-purpose before you rush out and buy everything on this list  (what I found in my own home here).  While the things on this list may not be plastic they still take resources and energy to make and if you don't us them, then that too is wasteful.   Are you thinking of doing Plastic Free July?
