Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone. Hope you have all had a lovely day full of eggs, bunnies, chocolate, sun, family and not too much plastic. 

A plastic free Easter doesn't have to be a joyless Easter.  In fact what could be more joyful than these beautiful free range eggs.  From a friend, these eggs are from her special breed chickens.  They taste super yummy too. Amazing there is so much diversity just in nature.  Blue/green, white, pink and brown. It made picking which one everyone had a lot of fun (not too many arguments).  

We have tried really hard to avoid the plastic but also not to be drawn into too much Easter consumerism. We had a lovely family egg hunt (well small foil bunnies thank you Aldi and Lindt.  I couldn't find eggs without the plastic).  And spent the day on the beach.
